Job Description Summary

Medication safety & automation represents a strategic growth area for BD. The Product Specialist will be responsible to manage mainly 1st and 2nd tier application support for our divers BD software and hardware product portfolio for hospital and pharmacy environments all over Europe.

The person will work closely with the implementation teams, R&D and Quality to ensure utmost customer satisfaction.

About the role

Medication safety & automation represents a strategic growth area for BD. The Product Specialist will be responsible to manage mainly 1st and 2nd tier application support for our divers BD software and hardware product portfolio for hospital and pharmacy environments all over Europe.

The person will work closely with the implementation teams, R&D and Quality to ensure utmost customer satisfaction.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • High customer and service orientation

  • Strong communication and de-escalation skills

  • Solution orientation and analytical skills

  • Creative and proactive mindset paired with team spirit

  • Solid IT and technical understanding

  • Ability to analyze and understand complex software application – workflow – hardware and integration requests

  • Stress resistant and resilient

  • Ability to travel up to 25% with Europe

  • Fluency in German and English

About you

  • Pharmaceutical and/ or technical background

  • Experience within hospital environments

  • Experience with medical devices

  • Any additional languages would be considered as an advantage
