Job Title: Chef de Partie
Starting Salary: QAR 3,000 plus Transportation and Shared Accommodation
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated culinary professional to join our kitchen team as a Chef de Partie. The Chef de Partie will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and presentation of dishes meet the highest standards. This position is ideal for a seasoned chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating exceptional culinary experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a designated kitchen section, taking responsibility for the preparation and delivery of dishes.
- Provide guidance and leadership to Demi chefs and Commis chefs working within the assigned section.
- Execute advanced cooking techniques and contribute to menu development.
- Ensure that food items are prepared and presented according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned kitchen station.
- Manage inventory, stock rotation, and communicate supply needs to superiors.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure consistency and excellence in food presentation and taste.
- Work closely with the sous chef to implement quality control measures.
- Collaborate with sous chefs and other kitchen staff to achieve a seamless and efficient kitchen operation.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, supporting the growth and development of junior staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the culinary team.
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, trends, and ingredients.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
