Holiday Inn London West Hotel is a 4* Hotel in North Acton, that has 225 beautiful Executive and Deluxe Rooms, 7 large Meeting Rooms, a Gym, Restaurant and Bar which an exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate Supervisor to join our Food & Beverage Department.

PURPOSE OF JOB

  • To ensure efficient and personalised service to bar, restaurant, room service and conference guests.
  • To ensure adherence to Company, Brand and Health & Safety standards at all times.
  • To lead by example whilst supervising, coaching and motivating a team of F&B Staff.
  • To take responsibility for, and execute, the F&B stock and cash take.
  • To ensure clean, organised and safe working areas at all times.
  • To report and follow-up on any maintenance needs in F&B areas.
  • To ensure tight control on operational expense.
  • To execute standards, offers and actions aimed at maximising F&B revenue.

MAIN DUTIES

  • To ensure all beverage are served as per approved standard.
  • To monitor all food is served as per approved standard.
  • To monitor and avoid beverage wastage and spoilage.
  • To supervise a team of F&B Guest Service Agents and assure service efficiency and standard adherence.
  • To ensure efficient communication to the shift, F&B team and other departments.
  • To ensure shift knowledge of offers and specials and drive upselling.
  • To handle any guest comments and complaints.
  • To ensure accurate F&B billing, posting and cash handling.
  • To ensure accurate and complete opening and closing of outlets or shifts.
  • To ensure adherence to all Health & Safety standards.
  • To coordinate maintenance needs.

What are we looking for?

  • A passionate individual with a positive attitude
  • Has minimum 2 years previous F&B experience within a three to five star environment
  • Good communication skills. The ability to be friendly, firm and fair
  • Team player attitude.
  • Flexible approach with regards to working additional hours if required Mon to Sun including Bank Holidays)
  • Good knowledge of English language both written and spoken
  • Adequate computer skills.
  • Very good knowledge of MICROS POS.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
