We are currently looking for Senior Financial Accountant to join our Krakow Team.
Main Responsibilities:
Managing US GAAP/local accounting in coordination with the accounting team; the candidate will have to review and manage all area of the balance sheet: Inventory, assets, liabilities being sure all the accounting entries and generated balances will be fairly represented in the monthly, quarterly and year-end closing
Complete the reconciliation of the assigned balance sheet accounts in accordance with SOX
Active participation in the accounting activities for US/local compliance
Collaborate on the preparation Treasury and statistical reports cooperation with other departments and local consultants
Collaborate with Corporate providing support to internal and external auditors and tax advisors to achieve compliance to local accounting and tax requirements, providing support in gathering documents for internal and external audit requirements
Perform SOX controls with accordance to USGAAP requirements
Role requirements:
University degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of experience in accounting/finance, experience with full cycle general ledger accounting is an asset
Experience within a Shared Service Center preferred
Knowledge of MS Office and financial systems required (SAP FI, Oracle)
Strong analytical skills, attention to details, accuracy
Professional, goal-oriented and well-organized
Process driven yet flexible to accommodate ad hoc requests
Experience of Excel to an advanced level
Fluent English language required
