We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data infrastructure and pipelines, ensuring the efficient and reliable processing, storage, and retrieval of large volumes of data. Your role will be crucial in enabling effective data analysis and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data storage systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement appropriate data integration and transformation processes.
- Ensure data pipelines are optimized for performance, reliability, and data quality.
- Architect and manage data storage systems, including databases, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to ensure efficient access and utilization of data.
- Develop and enforce data quality standards and processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Implement data governance policies, including data access controls, data masking, and data privacy measures.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data infrastructure is scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational standards.
Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Proficient in SQL and database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and distributed computing.
- Knowledge of data modeling concepts and understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with data integration, ETL tools, and workflow management frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
