The Senior Program Manager is responsible for managing the program objectives, introducing the business capabilities, ensuring the realisation of forecast benefits according to plan and tracking the contribution of each!
Responsible for program/project/non-project work to consolidated program outcomes, and to communicate to the stakeholders regarding performance and issues.
In customer engagements the Senior Program Manager is also responsible for strengthening the partnership with the stakeholders, by acting on behalf of SDA&P and by securing that the activities reflect the business objectives, and that the appropriate solution is included in the offer along with the cost and timelines.
Focus areas for the role are: scope & requirements definition, cost management, timeline manangement, critical path identification and management, strong governance and stakeholder management
What you will do
- Define the execution strategy and scope for program/project assignments for customer contracts
- Oversee, implement and control all aspects of the program and project portfolio, including overall financial responsibility, planning, establishment, governance and reporting
- Identify and implement project delivery performance improvements, contributing to lower lead-time to value
- Manage dependencies across SDAP and with other SLs and BAs
- Establish clear governance and reporting routines in alignment with the overall Governance Framework
- Manage changes and/or amendments to the programs & projects during the entire lifecycle
- First point of escalation for the Market Areas
- Act as Pre-Sales CFR for SDAP scope of deliverables
- Perform demand management activities (MA input towards SDAP)
- Ensure adherence to methods, processes and ways of working and contribute to continuous improvement
- Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders
- Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of projects as Project Manager
You will bring
- Multi-year international experience in Managed Services, Telecom and Business Management in highly complex customer/MA engagements
- Experience with program & project management tools and applications.
- Proven background of leading complex transformation projects
- PMI Certified - desirable
- Knowledge of Managed Services Delivery Platform (MSDP) platform - desirable
