We are recruiting a Database Administrator to join our technology team. The role holder will be responsible for designing, creating and maintaining database systems and participate in application support if required.
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Experience:
- 2-4 years overall database experience
- Of which experience in database design, maintenance, security, tuning and database management, specifically in Oracle databases
- Experience in software testing
- Experience in working on multiple projects
- Experience with other databases (Mysql server, MSSQL)
Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:
- Competence with SQL Language.
- Familiarity with Unix environment from end user level
- Database design, maintenance, security, tuning, management
- Exposure to software testing
- Good interpersonal and written communication skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation and teamwork skills
